A step ahead in comfort and care
As a new patient you will have a 30 minute consultation to assess your problem, discuss the treatment options and agree a treatment plan.
If you have a complicated problem or need a more detailed biomechanical / gait assessment, then we can refer you to an appropriate consultant.
We would advise that you wear clothes that allow easy access to assess lower limb function. If your shoe style varies, please bring a selection of shoes so that these can be assessed.
Sports patients should bring their sports shoes. We sometimes need to analyse the forces and pressure points underneath the feet during walking.
As well as the standard assessment techniques, we provide advice, exercises, mobilisation techniques, footwear guidance, provision of simple shoe inserts and foot surgery. It is therefore difficult to determine the most appropriate options and length of treatment for your case until you have been assessed. Our aim is to provide you with an effective, evidenced based treatment plan that enables you to return to normal activity with the minimum of intervention.
Gait analysis, casting and orthotics issues are generally performed by associates to minimise the cost of treatment.
